  the mess in the west continued

  well, 60 or 70-car crash last night near siskiyou summit, due to ice on the road.

  there's a traffic cam right about there, near holbrook, looks pretty bad tonight too.. heavy snow tonight and tomorrow, should be fun.

  down to 16 degrees f. last night, pretty cold for a southern california gal who lives in norcal now.. have to take a pair of pliers out with me tomorrow, i have to turn a doohicky on the front wheels so i can use my 4wd, old-fashioned but very reliable vehicle.

  Funny, were I live, Local Surfer and Skater Dudes call it NorCal. , but it's really Central Cal , if you think about it.. (Oh, and saying/typing 'cali' is an abomination..hehe)

  Hope you can get that doohicky turned.

  Oh and to add to your 'trival posts' , my cat , who has a new name 'Killer'. Well, she brought in a kill and layed it out on the carpet. It looked like a Dexter crime scene. Blood spatter and organs every were. I stepped on some. Eww, felt like snails with out a shell.

  A question too. Is it 'nt or n't ? ( cause I was taught 'nt)

  It will get very cold tonight and my suculients will turn to bitter popcicles.

  From what JW GoneBad is saying . The local JWs are focusing on the 2 tracts about The End and Where The Dead Are.

  Many, or I should say all, the Families of the Children that died, that I have seen interviewed, already have their own faith. The are saying their faith is what is holing them together over this profound loss.

  How horrible to go to homes, at this time, and try to take away what is helping people cope.

  It's cruel, inappropiate and insensitive.

  i used to have everything my cable offered in the area.

  hbo used to be my favorite but i have to say showtime is the best now.

  homeland and dexter alone are worth the price (especially if you can get a deal)..

  I adore classic movies , I'm willing to pay for TCM.

  I'm enjoying the Showtime series, Homeland and Dexter.

  But I would wait for them to arrive on Netflix.

  his voice is liquid, drowning me then rescuing me from the sheer weight of a burdensome life that can no longer be borne.. somehow, a singularly caressing envelope of grace shields me from total obliteration, his ethereal utterance an unknown but strangely welcome entity.. what power lures me outside myself into a realm within my reality but, nonetheless, beyond it?

  it is sonority that at once crushes me yet, alternately, cradles me tenderly inside delicate tracery of angel song.. i beg - oh, how i beg - to be released from this aural tidal wave of unquantifiable beauty.. his music is that of other worlds; it holds me in its protective but unrelinquishing embrace.

  i equivocate, but it is demurral of little account for i cave and become captive .

  Very moody writngs there Dear CoCo.

  Reminds me of someone I felt 'love ' for.

  He was from Italy. At that time, I was giving the "truth ' another chance, he was a JW.

  He would write many long poems , some what dark, intoxicating, but strange and sensual in his non native tounge. I feel in love with his words . But he was not his words.

  He called himself The Dark Monk. That reminded me of Umberto Ecco's books. Espically the Name of The Rose. Turrns out he had him as a Professor at University.

  I enjoy your words COCO. They take me so far back in the dark passages of my memorie.

  Greetings Hortensia,

  I just recieved the first Dr. Who CD from Netflix. (circa 2011) . I hope I like it. Tell me I will. hehe

  I did recieve American Horror Story too that day. I watched that first.

  I'd be pissed too . Thats just to long a wait for a movie after the previews. May seems so far away.

  Downton Abbey has been very intertaining. Maybe you might get involed with this series .. Or, if your not afraid of ghosty stuff American Horror Story was good. It has a creepy, naughty Jessica Lange in it. Didnt need the lights on during the night. Dont have any more green bibles , so I think it's not so scary

  Game of Thrones , most excelente.

  Oh, and that blank post above me is not my fault........it was a ghost posting.

  On some levels, in the US , we have become a cultur of gossip.

  People Magizine , when it first came out , I remember thinking it's basicly gossip. I like to watch CNN, they have Showbiz Tonight on their alternate channel. Basicly gossip. THe Daily Mail in the UK, tons of gossip.

  Most of the reality shows are fueled by gossip.

  When I was a kid during the 70's, I could miss school if I went in service . I usually ended up with the pioneer sister, very nice ladies, but man did I get an ear full about everyones life in the Hall.

  So gossip is now entertainment. Where's the Pipe? :-(
